Elf on the Shelf Mischief at RAP

The holiday season is here and folks at the day program are getting into the holiday spirit. The guys at RAP have helped decorate the building with garland, a Christmas tree, bows, and some self-made decorations.

Each year, participants at RAP write letters to Santa with their Christmas lists attached and wait for Santa to write back. On December 23rd we will also be hosting a holiday party with games, prizes, music, and dancing. To add to the holiday fun, Seka has been keeping a close eye on our newest friend, Elf on the Shelf. Each day he finds new ways to make messes and pull pranks on the participants. The guys have signed up for different days to watch out for the Elf and make sure he doesn’t make anymore messes. However, he still manages to pull a fast one on us and cause some chaos. The participants are then required (on their chosen day) to clean up where the Elf left a mess.

To make things interesting, folks at RAP are not allowed to touch Elf or he may take a present away from them on Christmas day. Everyone at RAP is involved in finding our Elf friend and making sure he doesn’t make any more messes! Below are some pictures of the Elf caught red-handed.

Elf snuck upstairs and got rolled up in the toilet paper!

Elf took it upon himself to make the staff counter a portable restroom.

We hope Cheryl has insurance on that she-shed.

I think we caught him before he made our whole back room an obstacle course!
