The Haunting of Vlad the Impaler

Written by: RF, AV, and GM

It was the night of Hallows Eve when 7 kids decided to play hide-and-seek in the woods. So they kept on exploring until they stumbled upon a house. So, Hank decided to go inside and check it out. Little did they know, someone was watching. So after Hank checked it out, he said the coast was clear and they all came inside.

Then Michelle said, “I dare you guys to stay the whole night.”

Everyone responded, “Bet”.

The first night of them staying there, they heard somebody say, “Get out!”.

The kids said, “Nice try, Hank”.

But Hank said, “It wasn’t me guys, I swear!”

The second night they heard a loud thump and Hank asked his friends, “Did you drop something, guys?”

His friends told him no. Suddenly, blood starting dripping down the walls and the blood spelled Get out or you will die. But the kids didn’t listen. So the kids stayed more nights there. Hank did some research and he found out that the house was bought by some guy named Vlad who died of a heart attack at the age of 60.

The next night, they heard a weird noise, like someone was playing the organ. All they heard was duh, duh, duhhh". But when they looked over, nobody was there. All of a sudden, they could see skeletons start dancing. The kids ran to another room. A picture on the wall came to live and started saying, “Get out…get out…get out of my house…”

When the kids tried to leave the house, every window was sealed shut and every door was locked. They heard heavy footprints on the front porch. When they looked out the window, they saw a man carrying his own head. He knocked on the front door and the kids could see him through the peephole, banging his head against the door angrily saying, “Let me in!”.

He then walked down the front steps and threw his head against the front door and all the kids started screaming as they ran up to the attic and hid. In the attic a rocking chair was rocking all by itself. In the attic there was also an old piano which started playing by itself. The kids heard a little girl’s voice laughing, along with a doll laughing while turning its’ head.

The kids ran back downstairs to the second floor and hid in a bedroom and locked the door. Now, they’re in the middle of a thunderstorm; the flashlights flickering on and off. There was no cell phone signal and all of a sudden, the dresser drawers start opening and closing all by themselves. The bed started floating by itself and the pillows, blankets, and pictures starting flying across the room.

The kids decided to run down to the first floor into the kitchen. The gas stove turned on by itself and the dishes started flying out of the cabinets and hitting the kids. Broken plates and cups started crashing on the floor, so the kids ran into the living room. The chandelier starting swinging back and forth. In the dining room, the the chairs started pulling out one by one while the table flipped over. The kids were screaming and ran down to the basement. The floor in the basement started shaking.

The kids turned around and saw a trap door in the basement that led to the outside. They ran away from the house and the trap door started slamming. When they got into the woods, the trees tried to grab them. One of the trees grabbed a boy and threw him onto the ground. The kids all scattered and started running through the woods to get home.

The next day, the kids decided they should have listened to their parents and will never go back to the Gravestone Haunted Mansion.

The End.
